Firstly, you don’t have to worry if you don’t have a computer, smartphone or just don’t “do” the internet.
There’s a touchscreen terminal at the Club so you can still book, in person, at the Club if that’s your preference.
You will however need to register by requesting your a username, password & PIN (these should be sent to you once you've paid your Club membership fee)
The following details from the Club membership database will be used to add the following to the booking system***
First Name
Last Name
Membership Category
E-Mail address
Mobile telephone number
KEY FEATURES:
You'll be be asked to pay the court fees at the time of booking.
Please note: you won't be able to book courts unless you have sufficient funds in your account so, don't forget to "top up" by using the "Buy Credit" option when you're logged in.
You'll also have the option to share court costs with your opponent (please always remember to add your opponents name on the booking sheets)
Your account balance is shown on your booking "home screen"
As discussed at the 2022 AGM, the court fee will be £4 per 45 min session from 1st December 2022.
Under the new system, the court lights will be "live" 5min before your start time & switch off 5 min after your booked time ends.
"But wait!" we hear you say... "what if no-one turns up to play, will we waste loads of eleccy?" The answer is "No" because we* are implementing movement sensors on court so the lights only come on if the court is actually in use.
NOTE ***
NONE of your information is shared with anyone and is only viewable by the system admins i.e. The Club Secretary, Membership Secretary & Team Captains.
All the data protection required by GDPR is in place and HSRC & MyCourts are registered with The Information Commissioners Office (ICO). There is no change to how your information is currently handled by the Club.
Please do e-mail if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them!
My best regards
